Burley Oaks and St Joseph RC Primaries took the honours as the Cougars Community team wrapped up their tag competitions for 2011/ 2012 school year with the annual ‘ Champion of Champions ‘ Tournament held at Cougar Park.

Your Sporting Chance in ground breaking town initiative

Cougars based Youth Project Your Sporting Chance are partners in a new project that will see Young People in Keighley benefit from a new initiative aimed at helping them to improve their skills and qualifications, find work or set up their own businesses.

OUR AIMS…

The aim of the Foundation is to utilize the power of sport to inspire, educate and motivate our community within Keighley and Craven. Supported by with many local partners to work with over 8,500 young people every 12 months. Our mission is 'To provide a platform for the people of our community to raise aspirations and to inspire people to lead healthier, more active lifestyles through the power of sport using professional role models.

EVENTS…

The Foundation will again be running a Cougar Camp during the Easter Holidays, this time based at St Johns Playing Fields, Utley, (Home of the Cougar Cubs) for young people aged 8 to 16 years. For three days 19th - 21st April they will be offering fun rugby and multi sports skills coaching and games between 10am and 3pm.
